Dr.Yogesh Bhardwaj (Professor & Head)

Dr. Yogesh Bhardwaj did his MDS in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, from Faculty of Dental Sciences, King George’s Medical College, Lucknow in 1991. Dr. Yogesh Bhardwaj joined the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as Assistant Professor in July 1999. He is actively involved in the teaching of Undergraduate and Post-graduate Students for over two decades. He became the Professor and Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2004. His special areas of interest include - Maxillofacial Trauma, Maxillofacial Oncology and TMJ surgery. He has been instrumental in starting MDS course in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in this institution in the year 2006 and also getting the degree of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, recognised by Dental Council of India and Government of India in the year 2009. Dr. Yogesh Bhardwaj is also the external examiner to Master’s Degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery to more than half a dozen Indian Universities. He has been a reviewer of National Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has given various lectures at National and International conferences as invited speaker. He has National and International Publications. He is actively involved with the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India for many years now. He is a well known surgeon in the speciality of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery all over the country.
